Really good food. It is pricey but delicious. The atmosphere is great. If it isn't hot it would be neat for the outdoor seating. Not very good parking options. Not real fond of paying $7 to park. It is definitely worth trying.

Pretty solid spot! The vibe/atmosphere is really cool. Almost like a "dive bar" feeling. There's lots of decorations, the service was good and friendly, and the BBQ was great. I had a half chicken with fries and it was a LOT of food. I cant eat sugar, so I didnt get to try the sauce, but the chicken was good as is. My friends all enjoyed their meals as well. Its a super casual spot with a stage and the doors open up to have an "outdoor venue" type feeling for live music. Maybe not my favorite BBQ ive ever had, but if youre around and need a BBQ spot this is it.

Really good and neat BBQ joint! Not bad for east of the Mississippi. The line was long on the Saturday we went (2023 I think, expected it would be) but we braved it anyway. It was worth the wait, but I still like Texas brisket better. Give it shot if you’re planning on being downtown one night.

Martin’s BBQ Joint is a must‑try if you’re in Nashville and love good barbecue. The food here is outstanding—especially the smoky brisket, which is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Best BBQ place we tried in Nashville. The sides are solid too, and they’ve got a great selection of beers to wash it all down. It can get pretty busy, so be prepared for a lineup during peak times. Once inside, seating can feel a little warm on hot days, and I noticed it could be a bit cleaner in some areas. That said, the casual, laid‑back vibe fits the BBQ joint style, and the staff were friendly and kept things moving. What really says it all is that we ended up coming back several times during our trip. The brisket kept calling us back. The relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to linger over your meal, and the beer selection is just right for pairing with smoky meats. Before leaving, we picked up picked up a few Martin’s T‑shirts to take a little bit of the experience home with us. Great food, good drinks, and a fun Nashville BBQ experience.

Great ambience, live music, food and general set up. Highly recommended. The short video is taken from a local hotel in the near vicinity of the venue. I'm posting it as an example of the great live music played in this place. It's a great solution for those who prefer not to drive into the "strip", but still want to experience the real Nashville.

Delicious food!! My wings were smoked to perfection. I’m very picky when it comes to Mac and cheese but this was the best I’ve ever had away from home. My husband had the brisket which was delicious as well. He was disappointed because he ordered a specific drink but didn’t get it. When we asked staff about it we were told he didn’t order one. Misunderstanding I suppose and it was very busy so understandable. Live music was fantastic and the vibe of the place was so fun!
